I could use this to keep track of scheduled meeting times for each of the classes that I teach. Both teachers and students could see their schedules and what we will be doing during the class period.
Google Docs could be used for students to collaborate outside of school. If students are working on a project for a class Google Docs would allow them to work on it together from home. As a department I think google docs would be good to share lesson plans or post questions about a lesson.
Google earth could be used for prospective college students to view the college campus. It could also be used to view potential places for a class field trip. Students could also take a virtual drive to a particular destination.
